Dirty Thoughts

I run the tumblr blogoporno and occasionally decide to share my thoughts on there but that often just gets buried under a heap of tits and ass, so this is my place to share my related thinkings.

Second one of these I have gotten for a picture I posted on Bend Me Over. :(
What’s odd to me is that I got the picture from a blogspot blog, Erotic Garden, who I’m sure got it from somewhere else, how far do you have to go to get absolutely everything of yours removed off the web? And if you posted it on the internet in the first place and I gave you credit for your photo, what is the big deal? I know… I know… it’s their work, but I am just confused by this action sometimes.
Photographers who may find this site and want me to remove a picture: email me @ bend.me.over7 at gmail and I will gladly remove your photo.

Never gotten one of these emails myself but I’ve had a few comments on posts over at blogoporno asking me to take down a photo. I’m cool with that.  I tend to be pretty quick to respond to those requests because I don’t really feel like making any trouble. I’m lazy. Very lazy.
I probably would be less comfortable with getting an email from tumblr that someone complained. That would be pretty annoying with an email address clearly posted on the site. I think that copyright owners should contact the tumblr in question first before escalating to tumblr support. Meh. Just seems like a nice way to go about it.

Super COOL Stress Reliever
via designyoutrust.com

My wife got me two of these (they come in pairs) about a year ago for my birthday. They are kind of fun but I felt like I couldn’t squeeze them too hard or they would rupture. That was particularly true after we discovered one had a tiny hole and was leaking whatever water-like stuff they fill it with. Still, very groovy stress reliever.

More on politicized pubic hair

nightmarebrunette:

I’m an avowed fan of furry pussy, but I’m frustrated by these tired claims that a lack of hair renders a woman pre-pubescent looking. Since porn is so often credited with kicking off the fervor for female shaving, it might be helpful to recognize that shaved pussy in porn relates to visibility issues, not infantilization of all performers. (Admittedly, it serves dual purposes for the barely legal crew, who—it bears repeating—are often of advanced legality.)

I had a customer once tell me he reminded me of his daughter. According to him, she was eight years old, and he wanted to spend his session calling me by her name, pretending he was cajoling me/her into sitting on his lap, etc. For the aforementioned visibility, I kept myself totally shaved for the majority of my time on webcam. However, I’m 5’10” with large breasts, distinct hips, and woman’s voice. The idea that I’m reminiscent of anyone below the most mature sixteen year old is laughable. I don’t believe he was telling me the truth; much of what customers said on webcam was designed primarily to provoke a strong reaction whether it was positive or negative. And he succeeded in making me deeply uncomfortable.

Avid shavers generally promote the feel of being bare far more often than they do the look. Furthermore, if you believe a woman’s age is indicated by nothing more than her pubic hair, aren’t you suggesting by extension that a fifteen year old with a bush convincingly passes as an adult? Why is this argument not extended to men who shave their pubic hair? I’ve never heard a woman (or man) accused of being a pedophile when she or he says they like their male partner shaved.

There are plenty of ways to promote pubes that will win more hearts and minds than name calling. For instance: visual evidence.

Interesting. I’m inclined towards a woman with pubic hair. Groomed but still present. I try to groom my own but won’t be shaving it off any time soon (I’m a hairy bastard it would look weird to just shave my groinal area). I’ve made the pre-pubescent argument but never really thought about the visibility issues. It’s a good point. Still, in porn I do like a bit of hair because I’ve been with shaved and I’ve been with groomed and I much prefer groomed so the non-shaved works better for my fantasies.

Anyway, just wanted to share this because I thought it was an interesting point that had never crossed my mind (like so many interesting points).

Dear Porn Industry,

Yep. Agree with the points made below. I know this sounds silly based on what I post normally on blogoporno but the overall quality of hardcore porn needs to be raised. There’s a place for the anthology of scenes with no story to them. We all like to just get straight to the fucking at times but sometimes I want something that I’m going to want to sit through for 2 hours. A plot. A nice simple plug-n-play dime store plot is all I’m asking for. I know there are people out there making those. I think I’ve seen one or two of them but they tend to get buried under the mounds of repetitive plotless “story porn”s out there. OR at least throw us a curveball in the scenes. Change up the order of business a bit. Don’t go through the full range in every scene (seriously damn near every scene has oral, vaginal, and anal) build to the “every hole” scene maybe? Just a thought.

Of course, I’m kind of thinking about the full length movie and not so much what is being talked about below, which is mostly just scenes. Still, I kind of dig the scenes where it’s just a handjob or blowjob, or if I just happen to catch that section of a scene on RedTube or elsewhere. I didn’t used to get bothered by interracial scenes because I didn’t really think about it but yeah once someone pointed out to me how black men are depicted in the scenes I’ve always felt awkward about watching the scenes. I still do but they make me uncomfortable now and I have more and more of a tendency to avoid them.

So, who wants to start a porn company with me so we can make the sort of stuff we like?

sexcounts:

Weirdly coincidentally I was thinking about 2 of those points in the last 24 hours. The “porn formula” has bored the hell out of me soooo much. How is it that so much porn is made and 98% of the time it follows the exact same formula? Real world sex is probably ruined by people who follow it. I mean, seriously, why the hell would you pull out right before the best part? (This is, of course, provided you are either wearing a condom, she’s on birth control and you’re both clean, or trying to have a kid).

And the “blacks on blondes” porn point. It’s kinda how I feel about almost a porn with a black participant. For a while I thought that maybe I really had a racial bias in sex, but it’s just that 98% of porn featuring someone black portrays them as nasty and ghetto as hell to play on a white man’s fear of some “porch monkey” violating his wife.

mixiedoesit:

porncull:

Could we, please, try doing without some or all of the following for once? Just give it a try, see if we can get by without:

  • Freakishly long fingernails
  • Excessive eye makeup
  • The “blowjob—>vaginal—>{anal—>}{blowjob—>}facial cumshot” formula
  • Sex always being male-initiated and controlled — come on, what’s wrong the lady jumping her guy or wrestling to get on top?
  • The mindset that sex has to be degrading to women to be arousing
  • The idea that there’s something unusual and dirty about a woman who wants to get off
  • Sleazy asshole men
  • Picture sets that never show the man’s face, or really anything much apart from his dick
  • Male porn stars who aren’t even really physically attractive apart from their dicks (Possible exception for Ron Jeremy)
  • Creepy “blacks on blondes” porn that treats black men like animals and ends up coming across like some sort of beastiality porn for racists.
  • Pigtails
  • The obsession with 18 year-olds
  • The “schoolgirl” thing in general
If you read this far here is a sexy picture for you:

This is wonderful. It’s crazy because I was thinking the same exact things earlier today, especially about the freakishly long nails. Nobody likes nails on their genitals, much less INSIDE of them. And the overdone make-up and hair just screams “i’m really not that attractive.” Don’t get me wrong, I love porn. But the standards of todays industry need to change. While you can find any kind of porn out there, it doesn’t mean the same, boring cliches need to keep popping up everywhere. WE ARE GETTING BORED!

When I started this blog I said to myself that I would try to post some of everything and keep open minded but I’m really finding that it’s not that easy to even figure my own fetishes out. Example:
I’ve felt that there has to be some solo male or gay porn I might like. In my head I can make sense of it: tons of people watch straight porn of girls giving head and hand-jobs and we end up spending a lot of time staring at dicks. Couldn’t you take the girl out of the picture and still have it be a turn on?
And on plenty of occasions I’ve taken photos of myself nude or masturbating so I thought “if it’s a turn on for me to take the photos, maybe seeing others photos would be a turn on too.”
In theory it all sounds good in my head but when I try to look at it, it all just looks like a bunch of lame gay porn.

I feel you … I do …

Erotica and Pornography

bentover:

dirtythoughts:

So, I work from home and while I work I often have Netflix Instant Watch or Hulu playing. Today I was watching the british comedy series Coupling. Funny show. I highly recommend it. Anyhow, I was watching this show and there was a discussion of the difference between Erotica and Pornography. It was very funny but it got me thinking about this rather old argument.

The man, attempting to defend his pornography, asked why if women find it a turn on it’s erotica and if men find it a turn on it’s pornography. But really, that’s not the question. You see, women like pornography. Look at Bend Me Over. Plenty of filthy smut show up there. Nothing wrong with it. Hell, I love it. Anyway the question boils down to not that women only like nice sexy things and men only like gross sexy things but that what women like is sexy and acceptable but what men like is dirty and shameful.

A man and a woman may like the same picture of a woman with a cock against her lips. If the man shares that he likes it he’s being gross and it’s porn or a dirty picture and he’s a bit of a loser for looking at porn instead of finding his lame ass a real woman. If a woman shares that she likes that same picture she’s liberated. It’s not porn, it’s just a damn sexy picture, maybe not art but then where do we draw the line at art anyway? Isn’t that arbitrary?

Anyway, I’m not saying people should stop thinking what they do about a woman digging a naughty picture. I’m complaining that a man liking the same item is perceived in an unfairly opposite manner. It’s not like the woman is enjoying the composition of the photo over that it makes her think about fucking. Both man and woman are looking at that picture and their naughty bits are twitching and for fuck’s sake it’s equally sexy or at least appreciable.

It’s just a bit of a pet peeve of mine that if a woman digs it it’s acceptable but if a man does it’s just typical.

These are the things I think about when I watch British Television instead of working.

THESE ARE MY (BENTOVER’S) COMMENTS Interesting. What about the point of view that women who like/have a lot of sex (with one or different and many men) are regarded as sluts, while men doing the same are seen as studs. (We’re talking sweeping generalizations, right?)

I’m a sexually hyper-charged female and guessing you’re a male. You’ve experienced women’s desires be accepted, and yours judged as dirty and shameful. I’ve experienced men’s desires be accepted, and mine dirtied and shamed.

We are divided in that we see the other as gender/another group being accepted, while we are both judged. We are divided and conquered, alone and fearful when we only look at our own truth. We are less fearful, less alone when we look at and consider another’s truth and experiences; we are made more whole because we understand, and then we see it is simply the human condition.

At least…that’s what I see..hehe

Here is the response I posted in the comments. I thought I’d repost here so as to share with more folks:

I don’t disagree with you that there is the perspective that promiscuous women are seen in a poor light and that that is wrong but in a way that is part of my point. Allow me, if I may to expand a bit on my perspective on this matter.

See, women who are very sexual are seen by some as sluts because of the regard our society has for female sexuality. We put female sexuality on a pedestal. This manifests in two ways oftentimes. When we are supportive of a woman’s freedom to experience herself as a sexual person we celebrate her promiscuity as liberating. When we are not supportive of that freedom we see promiscuity as degrading. This comes from the same perspective of women’s sexuality being special. Two reactions to the same perspective. In one case a woman’s promiscuity is her embracing of the specialness of her sexual being in the other case a woman’s promiscuity is demeaning her specialness because if it’s special you shouldn’t be sharing it with just anyone. The way I see it, and I could be wrong. Our society sees women’s sexuality as something special to be celebrated. I think this is the case with people who celebrate promiscuity and people who deride it. Same perspective different reaction.

Now, men’s sexuality tends to be not special. It’s expected. It’s base. It’s an outgrowth of bodily function. A man’s sexuality is quite like him taking a shit. You know he does it. He has to do it. But really you don’t want any details about it. Men’s sexuality isn’t special and so we see a similar division of reactions based on this perspective. On one hand you have people who see a man being promiscuous and call him a stud. He is being a man. He’s doing what he’s supposed to be doing. That is what a man does. On the other side you have people who view a man’s sexuality as something gross. There’s nothing special about a man wanting to/liking/ or having sex. It’s just what they do. So, when they do. They’re just gross. They are pigs. Slaves to their baser instincts. Neanderthals.

I don’t disagree with you but I think my point is the specialness of sexuality for each gender. I want my sexuality to be special too. Everyone’s sexuality is special and something we can take a bit of joy in.

Thanks for the response! I like a good discussion and I apologize for not responding sooner.

Speaking of my porn blog...

sarahchristine:

Will I be censored one of these days? Y’all gonna make me have a little “OVER 18 UNLESS YOU’RE HOT” warning?

I just thought I’d chime in on this here. I posted a comment but I wanted to share my thoughts with you folks here too also as well.

I worry about this a lot. I do my blogoporno and there are a lot of places that wouldn’t have me. They’d shut me down immediately. I moved off of blogspot to avoid getting shutdown. I didn’t carefully read the wordpress.com TOU and got shut down there. Tumblr is a great platform. Particularly for what I like to do, which is just share solo images I dig. If I got shut down on Tumblr it would suck pretty hard. So, I try to keep an eye on the Tumblr TOU to avoid waking up one morning to see my 18 months worth of posts have been whacked. So far the Tumblr folks seem to be letting us have our little islands of smut but I know from past experience that this is not something that lasts forever. Prudishness, not necessarily that of anyone working for Tumblr but someone out there’s prudishness, will rear it’s ugly head and those of us that dig the naughty pictures will be forced to either justify our existence or move on to another platform not yet polluted by those who want to sanitize the web.

I proudly qualify for at least 7 of the above reasons for God to judge me.

Does that say Good People? I think that says Good People. Really? Really? Okay so the countdown of things I will be judged for:

Baby Killer (I think they include pretty much any Pro-Choice person in that statement, so I count. )
Liar
Atheist
Pervert!
Sodomite (do they mean gay or anyone who’s engaged in that which is defined as sodomy? I will just consider it the latter)
Drunkard
Money Lover
Hypocrite
Thief (I’ve been known to steal a thing or two but nothing huge)

What about you? How are you going to be judged? List the ways!
